While out shopping recently, my husband & I decided to call into Wilkinsons for a few bits because we haven't been in the shop for a while and we wanted to have a look around, our local Wilkinsons had recently undergone a revamp so it was really nice to see it looking all changed around and looking new. No matter what shop I go in, I always love to have a good look on every aisle, especially if I haven't been in for quite a while.
So looking around the beauty products aisles I noticed some skincare products by a brand called Cuticura that I had not heard of before, which I'm really surprised about because reading through their history for a bit of background information, I noticed that the brand has actually been going since 1865!
Anyway as many people who know me now know that obviously I love trying out new products and brands, so I bought:
- Cuticura Dry Skin daily facial wash
- Their new range, Cuticura Skin + Balance Range Sensitive Skin Soothing Facial Wash
- Skin Balance Sensitive Skin Hydrating Facial Moisturiser
Daily Skin Daily Facial Wash - Usage Day & Night.
This is such a great face wash, it is a nice clear gel liquid, not watery and foams up really well in your hands & on your face. It has such a beautiful floral but mild scent, not overpowering at all, just a nice aroma that smells so pleasant whilst washing your face. As soon as I applied this to my face I could feel it really soothing my skin instantly. It give me a cooling sensation which felt so good, it was very mild around my eye area and didn't leave my eyes sore or hurting in anyway like some soaps or face washes may do. It was just a lovely face wash to use. After using this and patting my face dry I could feel a big difference, my skin felt much softer and very refreshed. I love how this is a really nice size too at 225ml and only a small amount is needed to create a good amount of foam, so this indeed is going to last me quite a while.
I will definitely be buying this face wash again in the future.
Skin + Balance Sensitive Skin Soothing Facial Wash - Usage (alternating with other face wash) Day & Night.
Having Sensitive Skin, I couldn't resist to give this new range a try too. Using this face wash I noticed that the scent was milder yet still pleasant and with Aloe Vera which is 1 of my favourite plant extracts to use in beauty products and Chamomile I could see why the scent was so pleasing.
The product came out a nice clear gel liquid again like the previous face wash and not watery... just a nice constituency. I could tell this was created for Sensitive Skin as it was much more milder than the Dry Skin face wash.
Not as much foam lathered up on this 1, but enough to visibly see it on my face. It felt really gentle on my skin and after using it, I could definitely feel the results of much softer skin.
Very pleasant to use in my daily skincare routine and will be most likely using the Cuticura range for quite a while now. A definite recommendation from me to anyone like myself with sensitive skin.
Skin + Balance Sensitive Skin Hydrating Facial Moisturiser - Usage After Face Wash.
This Moisturiser I really love...instantly it feels really cooling & soothing on my skin. The product comes out a very faint white, thin but not watery in constituency and becomes clear immediately after rubbing it into your skin. Also with the added Aloe Vera, you can smell the Aloe & it smells amazing, especially when applied to your skin. I loved the instant cooling sensation it gave my skin when I applied it and it really made my skin feel super soft and incredibly hydrated once it was all rubbed in my face, neck and I've even been using it on my arms and legs too...yes it is that good!! Definitely going to be buying this range again and again, I'm really enjoying using these...now in my daily skincare routine and will be for sometime.
Definitely a perfect daily skincare routine for me to use for a while now because they are doing wonders for my skin and I recommend anyone to try them to see just how great they are.
